The Bluetooth® RS-232 Adapter kit by LinTech is designed as an pure serial cable replacement: With the two included Bluetooth® RS-232 adapters, a conventional RS-232 cable connection (serial V.24 Connection) can be replaced by a wireless Bluetooth® connection without problems. The two Bluetooth® RS-232 adapters which are connected to the serial interfaces of the devices which are to be linked will automatically build up a connection as soon as they are switched on and you can immediately transmit serial data.

This way you can build up wireless connections e.g. between the serial interface of PCs and peripheral devices such as e.g. measuring instruments, modems, printers and other devices with an RS-232 interface without problems. The connected devices do not have to be modified and no Bluetooth® device drivers are required - the complete Bluetooth® software is already integrated.
